I’m always up for a good deal. Check out the latest MacHeist bundle. They have done it again this year.
For those of you that don’t know, MacHeist is the website that has become known for its marketing tactics which include challenges or “Heists”. A successful completion of the Heist rewards the participants with free software licenses and/or extreme discounts.
They also offer a “Bundle of software”. The current bundle is an extremely good deal. Not only that, 25% of the profits will be donated to charity.
What charity you ask? Well, each customer may choose between 10 charities where the 25% off there purchase will go. Or leave the default and they all get an equal share.
Charities Available
25% of your purchase will be donated to the charity of your choice:
The current bundle is as follows with more to be made available as certain milestones are met. The first unlocked software was CSSEdit by macrabbit. This application was unlocked after 5,000 copies of the bundle were sold.
The next application is Snapz Pro X by Ambrosia Software inc. This application will be unlocked after $100,000 is raised for charities.
Finally, the application I’m currently eyeing is Pixelmator. This is the flagship application for the Pixelmator Team. This application sells for $59.99 by itself. I’ve been eying it for some time, so when I heard it was being offered in the new MacHeist bundle I hopped right on it.
