EPICWIN! – Level up your life.

In my experience I’ve found one small problem with to do applications on the iPhone. At least for me I never actually use it. and since I never open it I forget about things I need to get done. Epic Win ($2.99) fixes that, it combines your to do list with RPG style gameplay. When you add a new item to your to do list you can assign it an XP value to reward you with when you complete that item. Gaining XP causes your character to level up and gain loot. Thus encouraging you to actually work at doing the things on your list of items to do.

Check out the Epic Win Pre-Release Trailer

I have to admit I think its highly worth the $3 price tag. This little app will be sure to remind you to take out trash, Send that Birthday card and visit the Gym on a regular basis. With Epic win you get to watch your avatars stats develop based on your real life actions.

Every time you complete a task from your task lice you move forward on the quest map, every location will uncover new rare items.

Give Epic Win a try today, and start Leveling up your life!

TomTom Coming to the iPhone

Looks like TomTom will be creating a new application for the iPhone OS 3.0, I’ve been considering getting a GPS device for my car so I don’t have to constantly look at my iPhone when I’m trying to locate a new place.

However it looks like the new iPhone OS 3.0 will be offering turn-by-turn navigation. And with TomTom creating an application to run on the phone you know your getting a great product. They are also offering a dock that allows you to attach your phone to ether the windshield or dashboard to offer handsfree viewing of the phone.

No word on price yet, although I’m guessing its going to be up there in order to not hurt sales of there hardware devices. I’d be willing to pay up to $60 for this product. but we’ll find out soon. Launch date is scheduled for June 17th along with the availability of the iPhone 3.0 software.

Easy Wi-Fi for AT&T

Devicescape released a hot little app you may be interested in grabbing, Easy Wi-Fi for AT&T [iTunes Link] simplufies using your iPhone at over 17,000 Wi-Fi hotspots. This eliminates the need to register eash time with Safari and then waiting for the SMS code. But act quick it looks like Easy Wi-Fi for AT&T will only be free for a few more days before having a price tag smacked on it.

Digital Dice

I recently purchased Mach Dice (iTunes Link) for the iPhone, Before the developer (Mach Kobayashi) upgraded the program to 2.0 this little was fun but not all that special, a friend looked at it and said it would be much better if you were able to individually color the dice, I thought about emailing the developer and sugesting this idea but since forgot about it.

Looks like Mach read our minds because he just updated the app and added that plus much more to it.  2.0 sports the following new features.

  • colored dice
  • multiple backgrounds
  • dice locking
  • dice throwing
  • history of rolls
  • settings window
  • 6-sided pips or numbers
  • 4-sided graphics fix
  • 2-sided coins
  • One-Roll Engine
  • Watch the developer demoing 2.0:
