So I wake up this morning to find I’ve missed a few calls, when I go to see who I missed a call from It displays not the name but the number as do all of my call history, so I check my contacts, and they are still there but all the phone numbers have been striped from the contacts.
Has the above situation happened to you as well? well good thing it was a easy fix simply disable push for your contacts by going to:
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars
click on .Mac or MobileMe at the top of the screen and turn off Push for contacts, you can leave the rest on, now sync your phone with your computer. Then go ahead and turn it back on, you’ll get a notification that the contacts on your phone will be replaced by MobileMe just accept it and your phone should be good as new,
Please let me know if you found any problems with this.

Apple has a new site up for checking the availability of the new iPhone 3G, the site states:
The Apple Retail Store likely has your iPhone 3G in stock. You can check the most up-to-date availability right here. Shipments of iPhone 3G arrive most days and availability is updated nightly.
Select your state and then check the list to see which Apple Retail Stores currently stock iPhone 3G.
You can get the latest status updates from: http://www.apple.com/retail/iphone/availability.php
Also if your trying to get your hands on a new iPhone Apple recommends you Check availability after 9:00 p.m. the night before you plan to visit an Apple Retail Store. And Get there early. Shipments arrive most days, but be sure to arrive early since iPhone 3G is sold on a first come, first served basis.
Also your going to need to bring a few items with you to the store, remember to bring the following:
- Credit card
- Social security number
- Valid, government-issued photo ID
- Your current wireless account number and password or PIN (if you’re new to AT&T)

Looks like theres a new update out for MobileMe this update includes general system fixes that enhance your Mac for MobileMe. so far upgrade process from .Mac to MobileMe has been rough at best but this update was applied smoothly to my mac.
This update is now available through the Software Update Utility on your mac. If for some reason you are not seeing it try signing out and back in to .Mac via your system preferences.
The notes are vague at best but let us know how the update goes for you =)
