Loving Linux

Tux I’ve been usin Linux at home now for a little over a week and love it. I installed Ubuntu on a second hard disk and set up a dual boot so I can still get into Windows should I need to. But really, the only thing I have the Windows partition for is World of Warcraft. Thats about it. I can do everything I can in Windows under Ubuntu Linux. And the best part? All the free software. I’ve been playing around with Gimp, which is very similar to Adobe Photoshop. The hardest part about learning Gimp is locating the tools. Of course this has already been solved. Introducing GIMPShop, This is a version of Gimp that has been edited to be more user-friendly for Photoshop users. I think this is a wonderful idea. Many of the people I’ve talked to about Gimp decided not to use it due to the steep learning curve. They are used to the Photoshop interface. Give GIMPShop a shot. You’ll be glad you did.
